Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome back
We hope everyone had a good rest over the half term holiday, it has been lovely to see all the children back in school this week and hear about the different things they did during the holidays.
Road Safety
Next week children across school will be learning important messages about Road Safety, from how to cross roads carefully to wearing seatbelts when travelling in a vehicle. Do ask your children about what they have learnt.
World Book Day
Next Thursday 6th March is World Book Day, we are not asking children to dress up. We will be celebrating all things reading throughout the week with every class enjoying their favourite stories and completing some learning based on a book called Quest. Please do spend some time sharing stories with your children at home, and encourage them to complete some learning on Reading Eggs. Look out next week for social media posts all about Quest!
Reminder
We are a nut free school. Children must not have food in their packed lunches that contain any form of nuts as we have children in school with severe nut allergies. Thank you.
Finally, we would like to wish all our families observing Ramadan, Ramadan Mubarak!
Have a good weekend.
Best Wishes, Miss Loughlin and all the staff at St Stephen's.
