Welcome back to school! We have missed you all so much and cannot wait for us to be back in school when it’s safe.
This half term we will be exploring the Stone Age!
Today, we are going to become hunter gatherers and collect some food from our house to make a meal, similar to how they would in the Stone Age.
Your task is to collect 6 items of food from around your house and then describe it without revealing sharing the name of the food you have collected.
You can use expanded noun phrases, adjectives and conjunctions to help give clues to your food. Tomorrow, we can share them on zoom and guess what we have each collected for our meal.
Here is an example to help:
I have collected a small, thin tin from a chilly cupboard. The silver tin has a blue wrapper around the edge and a fish on it. What am I?

Draw a picture of something and add some adjectives to describe your picture.
To impress your teachers even more, you can add some expanded noun phrases and or similes.
Ideas of things to draw:
-Yourself
-A person you admire
-A Pet
-Your favourite place
It's time to get creative! Look around your home for any recyclable items and turn them into something amazing. Use your imagination to create a fun junk model. Remember, the crazier, the better! Can't wait to see what you come up with!
