The school day

The school day starts at 08.45 for all pupils except Nursery children who will start at 08.40 for the morning session until 11:40, and 12.20 until 3:20 for the afternoon session. Members of school staff will be on duty on the school doors at the beginning and end of every school day. Once the gates have been locked, all access to the school is via the school offices in Willow and Sycamore buildings. Children who arrive late must report to the office to ensure that they are signed in for the day.

Nursery children should come into school via the Saplings building.

• Morning Nursery starts at 08.40. The door will be opened again at 11.35 for parents to collect children.
• Afternoon Nursery starts at 12.20 and the door will be open at 3:15 for collection.

If children arrive late, parents should ring the bell on the door and Nursery staff will come to let them in.

Reception children enter school via the class door from the Reception playground.

Years 1 and 2 children enter school via the corridor door under the shutter in Willow building, from the KS1 playground.

Years 3 to 6 children enter school via the main entrance in Sycamore building.

Timings:

Total teaching time in KS1 is 22.25 minutes per week

Total teaching time in KS2 is 23.75 minutes per week
