Exploring Sensory Support Tools

In their Zones of Regulation lesson, children explore a variety of sensory support tools, such as fidget spinners, play dough, weighted blankets, or calming sounds. As they interact with these tools, they learn to identify which ones help them feel alert and focused, which ones calm them down, and which ones have no effect at all. This hands-on exploration allows children to discover what works best for them in each zone, helping them understand how to regulate their emotions and return to the "green zone" of calm and focus when needed.
