We were met by the team with a dozen of fresh local apples ready to press. They were all different sizes and we spoke about how apples were grown.  

First, we washed the apples in water troughs to make sure they were clean and ready. Then we crushed the apples in the crushing machine, putting the apples in carefully. The crushed apples landed in a big box ready to be scooped into the presser. We used different beakers to scoop the apple parts into the presser. Finally, once the presser was full we turned the presser to make our own apple juice. 

We all enjoyed a glass of fresh apple juice after a hard days work.
