Year 2 have been exploring how to group objects.  Today's lesson focused on creating a tally of objects using a common attribute: colour.

Children were given a pot of multicoloured blocks which children had to group by their attribute.  Once that was done they logged their data as a tally and final amount.

Pupil's then moved to the computer where they inputted their data as a pictogram.  We added our data labels to this and answered questions based on our data.
