Children investigated a range of materials and predicted which ones were going to let a lot of light through and which would be best at blocking light.

Using a light sensor on a Data Logger connected to a computer, children tested the materials and noted down the data shown on the display.  We learnt that light values are recorded in Lux (lx).

From our data collected, children then created a chart to display their findings visually.  From this data we answered questions and compared it to our predictions.
