Zones of Regulation

In Year 4, students have been exploring the Zones of Regulation to better understand how their bodies and emotions respond to different situations. They have learnt to identify the physical and emotional cues that signal which zone they are in. By recognising these cues, students are developing important self-awareness and self-regulation skills, which will help them manage their emotions and reactions in a variety of situations. This exploration is an important step in supporting their emotional well-being and creating a positive learning environment.
