How do we teach Computing at St Stephen’s?
Our Computing curriculum brings together three connected areas of learning that enable children to understand, create with and use technology.
Computer Science
Children learn how computers and digital systems work. They develop computational thinking and learn to design, create, test and improve algorithms and programs.
Information Technology
Children learn to select and use digital tools purposefully to create, organise, manipulate and present information in different ways.
Digital Literacy
Children learn to use technology confidently, responsibly and safely. They develop an understanding of their digital lives and the choices they make online.
